U.S. Olympic Internship Program

The internship sites are at Colorado Springs, Colo., Lake Placid, N.Y., and Chula Vista, Calif. Positions are either with the USOC or its sport National Governing Bodies (i.e., Archery, Swimming, Volleyball, etc.).

Interns live at Olympic Training Centers and eat their meals at the Athletes' Dining Hall.  A small stipend is also provided.

The program offers internships in the areas of:  broadcasting, journalism, marketing, sports administration, culinary and strength & conditioning.

To be eligible for the internship program, students must have completed at least two years of college before the start of the internship and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited United States college or university.  Internships are competitive.

To apply for an internship with the USOC, you must apply on an official application form and attach a resume and an unofficial grade transcript.  Please download the Intern Application Form on this page and submit to the USOC, Intern Program.
