Today, November 4, marks the 100-day countdown to the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.  In celebration of the upcoming Games, Rockefeller Center in New York City will be transformed into a Winter Sport Festival presented by Acer, and Olympic and Paralympic athletes will be featured on the "Today" show.

Hosted by Master of Ceremonies Rowdy Gaines, an Olympic gold medalist, the event will include the opportunity for local school children to skate on the Rockefeller Center Rink with Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls.  For those who can not be in attendance, Olympic fencer Tim Morehouse will blog live from the event to share the action throughout the day.

The public is invited to attend this free Winter Sport Festival in Rockefeller Center and meet Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls giving demonstrations of their sport, including biathlon, bobsled/skeleton, curling, figure skating, hockey, luge, ski and snowboard and speedskating.

Olympians and hopefuls who will be in attendance include: Gretchen Bleiler, Sarah Hughes, J.R. Celski, David Backes, Tim Burke, Lowell Bailey, Jeret Peterson, Andy Yohe, Steve Cash, Jim Craig, Mike Eruzione, Vladimir Myshkin, Jack McCartan, Steve Janazak, Haley Johnson, Leslie Bancroft-Krichko, Alana Blahoski, Cammy Myler, the 2010 U.S. Paralympic Curling Team and the 2010 U.S. Olympic Men's and Women's Curling Teams.
