Olympians Reunion/Chapter-USOC Outreach Support

Over 100 Olympians from past Olympic teams gathered in San Jose, CA on July 25-27, 2008 for the first ever Olympian Reunion. They joined the Board of the U.S. Olympians, including Chapter Presidents, who were holding their annual meeting during that time. A full schedule of reunion activities was planned for the weekend, including a salute to the 1968 Team on the 40^th Anniversary, a visit to 2008 Team Processing, several receptions, an official team photograph and a BBQ picnic.

• Support annual Olympic Day Events on campus and elsewhere. Appearances by: Bob Beamon, Bart Conner and Nadia Comaneci.

• Support the local Olympian Chapters with projects like the Ready, Set, Gold Project in Southern California and the Welcome Home Olympians and Paralympians Dinner in Northern California and Washington State Olympian chapter.
